!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I've gone with the TR6 (with a 3.0l Rover/Triumph I6), Montreal, MGB GT V8 and 16v Stag. What would you do, and how?

Needs more Citroen DS

Mechatronik is already restomodding my favorites. How about an older SL with disc brakes, modern updates and an AMG 4.3L V8?

Joking aside, the DS would be an excellent candidate.

Alfa Montral restomod?
Be still, mine heart.

I think Delorean in Texas is already halfway there, but I'd love to restomod DMC-12's. I'd fix the bugs, upgrade the suspension, and fit it with a modern v6. Maybe steal from the Camaro or Mustang; 300hp would be perfect for this car and 30mpg hwy couldn't hurt either.

Opel GT Maximum Lutz tribute, the first car he brought to the US.
First thoughts were satin silver or GM's forest green I forget the name..
F20C or a GM ecotec would be cool too I just fell in love with the Honda engine after some great autocross runs and other drives.

man, I got a million of them! Tops of the list though, Fiats, 124, X19, and 130 coupe. I would want the Syder in rally build though. let's see, a Gremlin would be funny and maybe a grand vista wagon, with SRT 8 running gear

I don't have a Petrolious account so I'll post it here:
A TR6 in British Racing green with an S14 engine.

Great idea. I've got a magazine lying around with someone who's swapped a Vauxhall/Opel red top into one of these. Apparently it's done enough that someone sells some of the kit to do it with.

Yeah that's the one I'd most like to do. 3.0l tuned Alfa V8, running somewhere between 280 and 320bhp and revving to the high-heavens. All the various kit developed for the Giulia GTV and GTA racers adapted to the Montreal chassis.
Perfect.

I'd love to see the X1/9 get the treatment. I know Fiat Uno Turbo engines are relatively simple swaps, and they can be taken to well over 200bhp if worked over properly.
Here's mine actually. So far all I've done is take the bumpers off and get it started (and in doing so discover it needs a new head gasket).
Eventually it'll have relatively minor upgrades. Filter, 4-2-1 exhaust, bigger tyres, maybe Uno Turbo brakes up front. It'd be a kickass little runaround.

Yeah, there is a pretty deep hole in my heart just for Fiats. My first car was a 124 Spyder, but I also loved the X.
I wonder if a SHO V6 would fit...

The Equus Bass in the article. God that thing looks horrible.

Agreed. To top it off it's a Ford Mustang recreation with a Chevy LS.
What?
